The quality and purity are also very good. The addition of 30 mg of L-ergothioneine, an antioxidant that shows promise in reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, and liver injury in studies (e.g., helping with steatotic liver disease and fibrosis) is an additional bonus.Now for the minuses - Only 80 mg of milk thistle extract total. Silymarin is the primary active compound in milk thistle for liver support. Even assuming a standard 80% silymarin standardization (which isn't explicitly stated on the label but is common for such extracts), this would yield about 64 mg of silymarin. Recommended silymarin doses for liver health typically range from 200--600 mg per day, with 420--600 mg often cited for general hepatoprotection. It also lacks additions like SILIPHOS which boost bioavailability by 8-10 times. Without it, a more can pass through the system unused.Lastly, there's the price. These are very expensive, particularly given the low amount of milk thistle. I ordered this product to help cleanse my liver. I have tried other milk thistle supplement but this one has a higher potency and is easy to digest. I also appreciate that the serving is only 1 capsule. I've had other supplements where I had to take 2-3 pills per serving and I struggle with that. This dosage is effective and doesn't give me any issues. I appreciate the antioxidant support. I am very pleased with this product!

Milk thistle is a good herb. I have used it repeatedly on and off for years. I cannot testify to the added ingredient L-Ergothioneine. The general consensus RDA for Milk Thistle is 200-420mg for general liver health. The 80mg of Milk Thistle in each GENEIII dose seems a little light.When I first saw the bottle's label I was thinking maybe they are marketing it as a amino acid supplement first and a liver detox second.I am a believer in Milk Thistle in the RDA range, but I did not notice anything different with the added amino L-Ergothioneine.

This contains a proprietary form of L-Ergothioneine which an antioxidant and is good for memory and brain function. Milk thistle is also includes for detox, liver support and overall well-being. The dose is one capsule a day. The capsule is small and easy to swallow with little to no taste.When I reached out to the seller for additional information on country of origin, I was answered promptly. The parent company is located in China but the product is manufactured and distributed by a subsidiary company located in the USA in a GMP facility. It says it is lab tested but that usually means in-house since it doesn't carry the 3rd party testing certification seal. Still, it seems to be a good product with synergistic ingredients, but higher priced for a month supply.

This is a great supplement for liver support. I find it easy to take and I notice that after a month I am more energetic and more focused. I figure this is the milk thistle combined with the l-ergothioneine as I have taken milk thistle before and not had this good results.The pills are easy to take and regular sized.

I take this on a daily basis. I take 1 capsule before meals everyday. The bottle contains 30 capsules. The bottle is only partially filled, leaving a lot of empty space inside. The capsules are small and are easy to swallow. No odor or unusual smell noted. Each capsule contains 80mg of Milk Thistle Extract and 30mg of Ergothioneine. It appears to be a quality product which also includes a retail box. The bottle does not state if there are any added preservatives, gluten free or artificial flavors.

I've been taking GENEIII L-Ergothioneine for months and it has been a game/changer. I notice it improves my sleep and it's providing antioxidant and anti-aging benefits as well. I currently purchase whole milk thistle seed and grind it down to add to my cereal in the morning. That breakfast routine isn't practical during my frequent travels. Milk thistle is my gold standard liver protection and provides numerous other benefits as well. I'm really feeing L-Ergothioneine difference and couldn't be happier!
